Have you tried turning off stabilicrap using the button on the shifter? Doubt it's an issue with the motor, probably a sensor since you can see the TC indicator on the dash and it does it during normal acceleration.

 

i can disable it by using the button with no issues so far if i take off pretty fast i haven't seen it, so far only slow or mild take off's and it doesnt do it all the time id say 4 or 5 out of 10.

 

There is no traction control "motor". Just an ABS module.

Your symptoms indicate a faulty sensor of some type. Maybe wheel speed, or steering wheel position (these are the two mode common).

You will need to do some computer diagnostics or guess and check work.

 

Does it happen when you take off in a straight line or in a turn?

I had a hub on my Saab that caused an issue but it was only after a turn. As stated Steering wheel sensor can be a culprit as well.

The only way that I know of to further diagnose is if you have a Tech 2 or pay the dealer to try and get it to act up, which would be costly.

Wheel speed sensor connector corrosion has caused huge issues as well. Trace the wire back from the wheel speed sensor in the hubs to the connectors and disconnect connector and look for corrosion on the contacts.

I have the exact same issue and drive I drive around with the Stabilitrack turned off until I can get it fixed. Dealer said it was most likely the hubs and the connectors, it's a common problem.
