If you port it, I would say you would need a spacer or it will flow less air at WOT. I say this because the machined in ramps actually guide airflow over the humps in the intake and people here have verified a ported throttle body with no spacer actually loses between 5-15 RWHP.

 

So your saying im losing hp by having a ported tb?:wtf:

 

i would definitely do it, but be sure to get a turbonator while you're at it for maximum gain.

I had great luck with them on my srt8 and my ram but supposidly there not really worth it on the chevys unless there drilled and tapped for spray
