Some forget these are SUV's so it'll do fine "off-road".
I'm surprised more people don't have these modded with power adders and off road set ups.

 

The TBSS AWD system isn't a very good contender for off road use from the start is probably why.

The above images are cool. I'm not sure the over sized tres + lift kit is is nessacery tho lol. I just am wondering if taking a 45 degree slope thats gravle and mud at the bottom is going to work out well or not.

@198 thanks man. So far I'm liking it over Nasioc lol. I've been a member there for many years and finally getting into something new.

 

We do a fair bit of towing with ours - jet skis ranging from 700lbs (two stand ups) to probably 1500-2000lbs (big fat sitdowns). It does great...but the magnacharger definitely helps with that

 

Honestly, my wife's 2010 Town and Country Limited 4.0 without the factory tow pack is a better tow car than my TBSS. It's more stable at speed, less susceptible to sway, smoother, quieter and gets way better mileage. I tow a very short jet ski trailer with two 750lb jet skis on it, it's a bit over one ton when fully loaded with gear.

The TBSS is waaaaaaay better on the launch ramp and I don't give a poo if I beat down the Chevy full of screaming kids.

SOmethings wrong with your TBSS if your 4.0 T&C tows better.
Mine tows a 6000lb boat without breaking a sweat,no sway,stops great and got 12.5mpg towing the boat at 65mph from Austin to the gulf and back.
I wouldnt try that in the T&C..

Does fine for what I need it for.....never really put it under a huge load besides what u see here....I'm sure it could I just don't have anything heavy to pull.
