For the 1/4 I can see the RWD having the advantage, but what about the 1/8 and the 0-60 for a stock TBSS? Strictly dry conditions also. thanks

Personally, I think the AWD and 2WD are really close in performance (traction offsets weight/drag) until you begin to stack on a lot of mods. Then the 2WD becomes the clear winner.
This has been proven at the Nationals where the trucks are pretty consistant.
