the only way to get the ring, is with a complete assembly from gm... otherwise you need to find a wrecked truck and grab them that way....

over 200 dollars for new ones from gm....

used ones can be had for 60-150 bucks for a pair.... i get a pair every now and then... but they are scarce....

you guys seen anything like this sitting in your garage and no idea it was the ring bracket I am looking for, hit me up. I would really appreciate it.

what you need to do is go on ebay, and start looking for people parting trucks out.... people with engines, rear ends, seats, stuff like that SS SPECEFIC stuff... message them to see if they have housings.
