Will it work?

This is the set up that my buddy wants to do on my SS. Does it look like it would be worth the time and effort and $? I know I want to add an electric cut out and I'd be getting the work done for damn near free, just cost of 4'' pipe and electric cut out, but do you think I would net any gains from the position of the cut out.?

4" isnt necessary. 3.5 or even 3 would be plenty.
Gods honest truth. Why would you have a bypass and a muffler and a cut out. No reason for it, just stab a cut out in front of a nice muffler and call it donezo.

:iamwithstupid:
I'm no pro when it comes to exhaust, but I thought it looked unnecessary too. I'll just put the cut out in before the muffler and call it good
There is a muffler out there that is single in dual out one has a cutout cap on it and other is for your pipe sure you can fab something with it to mock that... But and thats a big :bum: pointless

Do regular exhaust with cutout add electric cutout then get a 135 pipe with 3bolt flange and put it on the cutout!

Had this but in better proportion of course on my silverado before
