With our narrow ass rims what is the widest tire we can fit? Also what kind of places can widen rims? I cant really afford the downtime/extra money to have them shipped off.

315's would be alittle wide. Wasnt thinking about getting that crazy as traction really isnt an issue with an AWD, just want something that looks more aggressive.

how is traction with those? And how much wider are the toyo 275's vs. the goodyear 255's?

because of the wheel width the 275 and stock are almost the same but just looks better on the wheel with a little lower profile

i just know the ****** tire manufacturers are a little more narrow in comparison to say.. BFG, Goodyear and the like. Didn't want to stretch the tire width wise..

I am going to have the stock rear wheels widened and run some 295/45/20 on the rear. I will not run spacers so I will only have them widened enough to fit deep in the wheel wells. The 295 is only 1.1" wider then the stock 255 so we will see.

I'm thinking 275/40's and 315/35's ..... W/ some new wheels to boot. :)

Gotta wait and see though.. Otherwise I'll just go w. the 275/45's when it's time.
