Hey all,

I have that famous ringing noise that increases with RPM coming from my driver side rear speaker. From what I can see it's most likely a grounding issue. I see the Bose wiring diagrams from this thread:

http://www.tbssowners.com/forums/tech-talk/22420-tbss-audio-wiring-info.html

But I'm just trying to kind of make sense of it.

Where should I be checking for loose grounds? I see some suggestions of under the center console. I haven't really messed with the audio wiring before.

For what it's worth, I have a 10" sub run off an amp. Otherwise I have the stock Bose nav head unit/speakers.

Any suggestions?

If you have rear seat audio controls the problem is in the console. I can bang my elbow on the back of the console and it stops. Took a while to find the problem.

Check/clean the ground for your amp. I just had a ringing problem like yours and it was a bad ground.

Did you ever fix the problem? If so, how did you do it. The links, above, no longer work and I am having this issue in my 2008 TBSS. Thanks.
