my wifes TBSS has had efans for 5 years now. brandon at FMS did the install back in the day.

well today she called me from work that her battery was dead.

i jumped it and drove it home 45 miles without any issue. went to pull the battery to just check it on the bench overnight.. and before i knew it my fan was STILL running after the truck was off for aobut 10min.

then bam.. she lit up like fireworks and smoke show.

whos part is this? where do i get a replacement? im assuming at this point that was the reason the battery was dead as the fan was stuck on.

Man that sucks. I'm not 100% sure if you can get an easy replacement but I would honestly recommend getting a different harness with better relays. Pcmofnc has some nice harnesses imo but I'm sure if you're crafty, you could make your own.

^^^Agree with Brandon. Go with a PCM harness that is still being made. There was another FMS harness for sale last year in Wisconsin.

I had the same issue a few months back. Had FMS do my install as well and my relays stopped working. Was lucky enough to find another member who had one new and i bought from him. If i need to fix in he future i will go the PCM of NC route.

OH how FMS screwed us all!
