I dropped my trans pan and changed the fluid. Put everything back together and now both my ABS and stabilitrak lights are on and the dic says service stabilitrak. Any ideas? Is there any connections when you take the pan off that I may have disconnected that causes this? The truck is running fine besides this, any ideas?

Sometimes you get a communication error when you drive the truck, bbut once you cycle the key the message goes away.
If it is still showing, then you should scan for codes.

Sounds like it could be the steering wheel angle sensor. Why it came on after a tranny fluid change I don't know.

Yeah i was thinking that it may be unrelated to the trans flush and just happened to turn on at the same time. Im gonna bring it somewhere to check for the abs codes my code reader only scans for cel's and it doesnt have any.

Well I had the ABS codes checked today and my driver front speed sensor crapped out. I guess it was just the timing when I flushed my trans. New hub and all is well. Thanks for the replies!
