Alright , im wanting to replace the trans fluid and filter . Now when i bought the truck it had 85k and it now has just over 90k on it now . The previous user gave me all the receipts he had for all maintenance , but didnt see anything for any kind of trans service. When i bought the truck 1st thing i did was efans and trans cooler. When i did the cooler some fluid came out but not a lot and replaced what had come out. Truck shifts perfectly fine with now issues at all .
My question is , if i replace the trans fluid and filter will i have any issues ? Ive seen people here lately posting that they flushed the fluid and now the trans is slipping and need a rebuild/new trans.
Not sure what to do , do i leave it and let it run its course or do i replace it with new filter ? Im all about doing preventative maintenance but this one is iffy and not sure what to do . Any input and advice would be appreciated . Thanks guys
