Does anybody else drive with the traction control off? Cause I've been told that the SS runs better with it off is that true or is that just bullshit

I hate traction control! i hold it down and turn both stabilitrac, and traction off. Its not cool when you get next to someone at a light and get on it just to have it cut out on you.

You know, with the 06 at least, you can tune some of the TC/SB out. It's the SB that kicks in the TC so in my tables, I just raised the minimum etc % so it never goes below 35-40% on the throttle. I can nail it while pulling out either way and the back end kicks out a little and I'll be spinning, but it doesn't drop on its face to gain traction.

I have no idea why it was even installed on my AWD. If I get all 4 wheels to spin I want them to spin. On second thought it might help the ol lady during the winter months.

Push that little button in on the shifter for 15 secs or so. TC is instant, keep holding it in till ST flashes disabled on the display.

I had another member tell me how to turn it off. I had no clue you could till I saw it on his dash and asked him how he did that. I always cut mine off.
