Tire pressure sensors cutoff

Just have the valve stems replaced with factory units. Then you will be back in business!

Thats your only option then tune them out.
That sucks, hopefully you can get your friend to turn it off.
I had my tires & rims replaced once and they forgot to put the sensors in so I had to go back. But until they fixed it, every time I got in the car the stupid sensor thing would come up on the screen. It was annoying as hell.
Hope there is a way to shut it off.

Talked to him yesterday and he said that it is impossible to shut off. There is nowhere on his programmer to change it. He said it is against federal law to shut them off if it was possible. I think that I can get a programmer to to do it though.
That I can not answer but the wheel shop I buy from is a really good shop and sell a lot of wheels. IF he says they will not work I believe him. I will give him a call and ask because i would like to know also.
You would think they would work. The valve stems are the same for mounting on a rim, they just have the extra stuff below them. Maybe that rubs on the new rim?
Those sensors are $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

I want to see some pics bro!!! One guy on here has my same 22's (Amer racing 22's) and his shop told him the sensors wouldn't work where my shop i go to locally made mine fit in without any problems- same rim/tire setup.
I paid $170 shipped for my sensors and the nuts, from gmpartsdirect.
