That sucks, hopefully you can get your friend to turn it off.

I had my tires & rims replaced once and they forgot to put the sensors in so I had to go back. But until they fixed it, every time I got in the car the stupid sensor thing would come up on the screen. It was annoying as hell.

Hope there is a way to shut it off.

Talked to him yesterday and he said that it is impossible to shut off. There is nowhere on his programmer to change it. He said it is against federal law to shut them off if it was possible. I think that I can get a programmer to to do it though.

That sucks!

Now why is it that the stock sensors won't work with the new tires? Can you buy new sensors that would work?
That I can not answer but the wheel shop I buy from is a really good shop and sell a lot of wheels. IF he says they will not work I believe him. I will give him a call and ask because i would like to know also.

I finally know why they will not work. I have 24's and the tire is a 275/30/24. It is such a low profile this is why it will not work. I am weorking on a solution on it as we speek.
I want to see some pics bro!!! One guy on here has my same 22's (Amer racing 22's) and his shop told him the sensors wouldn't work where my shop i go to locally made mine fit in without any problems- same rim/tire setup.
