I don't want to do a cam, but I'm thinking of using the SLP (milled to 64cc to restore factory 10.9:1 comp ratio) L92 heads and installing long tubes with true duals. My question is this.....will the L76 manifold work if I switch over to efans, or do I have to use the escalade manifold in order to use the L92 heads on a TBSS? I know someone has done the L92 truck manifold on a TBSS over at LS1tech.com/ I'd prefer to use the L76 manifold if I can get away with it. I know that this set up has shown good gains on LS2 vettes with the stock cam. It's relatively cheap and easy to install too.

I'd like to be able to use the L76 manifold because it flows much better than the L92 Escalade manifold as can be seen here

From what I have see posted (flow bench data etc...) the L76 far out flows the L92 truck intake, and doesn't lack alot on the torque down low either....however changing over the waterpump and other things probably isn't worth it in my application.....

I'll keep you guys posted....will probably do this mod in fall....I want to drive it for now:cheers1:

If there are any torque advantages with the L92, wouldn't they be 'bypassed' in a car/truck that has a 3000+rpm converter? I'm hating the realization that I have to swap cams again for these heads.. My cam is definately not going to cut it.. The split between intake and exhaust on these heads is rediculous.
