I just finished a garage rebuild to the engine and at start up the oil pressure only goes to 40 psi and within 5 min it drops to around 8 psi this was the same 2 days in a row with factory gauge and actual oil pressure gauge. Now the pressure is definitely too low but it's the drop that is even more unusual because that's not enough time for the oil to heat up and break down lowing the pressure. I dont believe it's a bearing loss of pressure because even then it would need heat to lower the pressure ( just a theory) but if that's the case where should I be looking when I tear back into it. Anybody run into anything like this before
