springs/shocks

I've searched, and searched and read so much my head hurts. I'm sure its all here but I guess I'm looking for some reassurance.

My tbss currently has cheap 1.5'' springs up front and adjusted rear bags, stock 156K miles shocks/struts. Leans a little to the right but sits about 31-31.5 with stock tires.

I have ordered Belltech 25011 front struts, which looks like are adjustable so dialing in my ride height shouldnt be a problem. I'm assuming I use my stocks coils with these.

For the rears I have ordered the belltech 4230 3'' rear springs, 2210dd shocks and a spohn poanhard bar.

Am I headed in the right direction for my target of 31-31.5'' height and to not have a bone jaring ride?

One last question, are you guys that have swapped bags to coils, did you buy the rubber isolators for top and bottom of each spring or what?

Only isolators for the rear springs are the top. None on bottom.
And for the lowering struts....they say to take out the bumpstps inside the strut so they don't bottom out. When I used this exact kit to lower my envoy I never did and the ride was awesome.
For the rear shocks..I used the perf. series shocks not the nitros. Nitros are cheaper. and yes u use the oem ss springs while using the belltech drop struts. I didn't use any spacers cuz the envoy springs are obviously taller than ss springs. (If that matters...??)

Belltech shocks and coils should place in that level your looking for, now as for the swap my bags went out so I just cut the air lines and yanked them off and just placed in the coils with ease no insulators nothing they set perfectly in the bag location

Oh and u might wanna purchase tonys modified upper control arms for better balljoint angle and to acheive proper alignment. If anything ur upper ball joints will love u. Its not needed but everyone recommends it.

Thanks guys. Yeah I will do the upper a arms a little later, not in the budget at the moment after buying all this other stuff.

I went from bags to coils and used the isolator on the frame, just like OEM. Up front be sure to check on balljoint angle and potentially get the a-arms as mentioned. Also may be a good time to replace some worn stuff like balljoints.

No its all tight and good to go. I'll do the alignment myself.

make sure its the new version 4230 which i sell. lots of places have the light silver which is the old version and sits higher. also i use different rear shock mounts vs the dd version now on the kits i sell.

A few more mods and my ego will be filled with 500 hp :). It's a different group over there for sure. They have there good and bad like this forum but a little worse. The moderator is a d-bag over there.

I just wish we had a suspension set up like the TBSS and someone like Tony. It Sucks a Fatty.

When I had my TBSS I just did the shocks in the rear and it was night and day.

I will tell you that the rear Belltech springs + drop shocks that Tony sells make the ride TONS better than just a bag drop on stock shocks. I didnt run a bag drop + Belltech shocks because I was so fed up with the stock bags.

I have KWs up front with the modded a-arms, plus the LC32 steering xmember. My SS doesnt drive like the same truck anymore, especially over bumps.

I'm off tomorrow to get some dental work done, but I'll be happy to post the GM number friday if nobody else has it.

^^ I kept my air bags in the back but changed the stock shocks for the ones on Tony's site. I think they where a a little over a $100. Seriously night and day.
