Thats messed up. I really need to learn more so I can do this chit myself. I know a lil, but not as much as some of these guys do. I'll give it a try on the ol ladies truck. I have to get her some better interiors.

yea man, its not hard as long as you either A- do it once and remember where all the clips are and how to take them apart, or B- you have the correct service manuals so you don't THINK you have everything loose and end up breaking something.

Once we get a pretty good selection of all these service manuals for various things, this site is going to turn into a real "tech mecca" for the TBSS :D

I do not know if it is different with the Bose crap, but in my non-bose SS, there were no dash speakers. That did not stop me from putting some in there. The dash is removed by first removing the a-pillar covers. There is one screw up high behind a plastic cover. Once that screw is removed, the covers pop off. The dash can then be lifted off, paying attention to the sensor in the center of the dash. Disconnect the sensor and lift out.

yup, theres tweets in there. I'm getting 4 components (F&r door) and putting the tweeters from the rears into the dash spot.

well, I guess you can use the fader to control the staging of those tweeters.
All this talk, wants me to build some kick pods. Put an 8" in the door and 5.25" components in kicks

everything in the bose system goes back to the rear amp, correct? I'll just handle it there when I install the new amp.
