I just wanted to say I've broken my SS top speed at 128. I have to say that it seemed pretty fast! I'm kinda worried about blowing my tires at that speed. Does that ever happen?

Most people who's tires have blown at 128+ mph aren't typically still around to respond to board questions.

Take it easy on the street.....

255 is the top number for GM computers, at least Tunercats for my LT1 makes it seem that way. Not too worried cause I'd possibly go over 130 but even if I was heavily modded wouldn't wanna go much past that. In my dumber younger years I blew a tire going 122 on the highway and went into a wall. Fortunately I didn't break a bone but I learned my lesson about going that fast on the street.
