I've got the Clifford 50.5x remote start/paging alarm system. Cost about $430 installed, took about 4-5 hours. No flaws, other than me having them turn down the shock sensor, and me accidentally washing my pager in the wash! Works like a charm somehow, just dried it out and wallah!

I have Viper Remote Start Alarms on all my vehicles (required on black cars when they sit in the sun). I have the 791VX on the SS, but i would recommend the 5900 or the 7900. mine was about $550 installed with an extra remote. The warranty is excellent when installed by an authorized installer.

:jawdrop: What The Fuck my pager shit for my mustang got wet too and it just took a shit even after I dryed it
I was lucky somehow. It went through the wash and drying cycle, then I dried it out some more and a couple days later, i'm good! Saved me $63 (Best buy discount - otherwise it's $110)
