2008 Trailblazer 3SS rear liftgate strut support stud broke off yesterday. See pics. Where do I get one of these and how do they attach? I tried to "unscrew" the stud on the opposite side and it just turns... Thank you in advance.

Pop the black trim off on the outside of the lift gate. Gives access to the area needed to tighten the nut. Sounds like your other side is loose as well. They slide sideways and not out. Can't remember if in or out but likely in. Video on the interwebs about it. I think on 1a autos site. Can google for that.
