I was driving back from the twins game last night and I see this truck cruising up on me and riding my ass. After about 30 seconds he moves over in to the lane next to me and is riding heads up with me. He floors it for a sec to see if i would bite then waits, and floors it again and gets a good half car on me before i punch it. I pulled on him and was a good car ahead when i shut down. First time Ive had a range rover try something like this. It was pretty quick but not quick enough :biggrin2:

Im not sure we were on a stretch of hwy out in the country, it definately put up a fight and the front end lifted pretty good when he punched it the first time. All i saw was it was white and looked like it had some kind of stock 20's nothing that flashy. even though i pulled on him and he was hanging pretty good, but we went from 60-115 he was right at my rear bumper when i shut down.

I think the ones that are S/C have the emblem just behind the front wheel wells. I have only see one or two of them around there, the others are just the normal ones. I like them, but they cost to much $$$

The Range rover sports also have diff. wheels...and a triangulated looking fender vent...
anyone have a clue what the run?

this one had more rectangular looking vents on the front fender area... i couldnt see the emblem on the side with my tint and it being dark as shit.
it looked just like this one... it was even white

Yea My dads got a Supercharged RR (06) and Its 400 Hp bitch lol nah just kidding, Yea it is fast out the box since its also AWD. Its a beast though when it comes to offroading, cant get it stuck even if I try. And It doesnt have the emblem on the side only on the back but Ill look today when I go back to my dads house. Im gonna have it tonight since he is outa town and my TBSS is in the shop. Ill match up against him once at a light and tell you how it works out.
But the Brembos are sick as fuck on there, stop ona dime.

BTW- I can manually thru the navigation change the max speed up to 156mph I set it at 130 and when I hit it on the highway it just doesnt let the rpms any higher but when I lifted it, It goes no prob. 6 spd tranny helps lol

ok, the easiest way to differentiate if its a Supercharged HSE or regular HSE is s/c has dual exhausts and 9 spoke rims and a few other small stuff. Reg HSE has single exhaust and diff rims. And the sport looks completely different which im sure you could notice if you saw it.

maybe a few to many things fell on your head when you were climbing trees in hawaii. Those jeeps are not supercharged oink... and they are like 45-50gz out the door.

Anyone read the article in either Car and Driver or Road and Track that was all about fast SUVs? It featured the TBSS, SRT8, RR Sport HSE, FX35 and Cayenne Turbo. The RR had a GVWR of like 6,000 lbs. Heaviest one of the bunch, but still moved pretty good.

tiny, are you sure it was a SRT8 you saw? they don't tow much more than a few bags of mulch :rofl:
