This CTS needed the headlights restored badly. The driver side is how bad both of them looked. Here’s some shots I got.

Lights were wet sanded with 800, 1000, 1200 and 2000 grit and then two step polish. Came out pretty good.

Looks good. Much cheaper than buying new lights.

I went thru all the sanding, polishing etc only to have them look crappy in 6 months. I broke down and bought new shells, re using oem electrics. Paid $100 on ebay. Lots of them that provide new wiring and reviews say they burned out in no time. 2 years and mine look like new. Keep a coat of wax on them and park outside in Fla sun.

What did you use as a sealant after you sanded and polished them?
