If I get the drop struts wouldn't I need a spring with a corresponding rate? That's always how it's been done from my understanding to get the best performance/ride.

What? We don't have struts in the rear.

So its not going to be out of the limits for the valving on the struts. By chance would you happen to know the rate of our springs during motion with the drop struts?

The Belltechs use the stock spring, the struts are set up with the proper valving. The drop struts lower the spring perch.
