Hey guys! Is there any adjustment to our parking breaks? When even on a slight hill, my parking break doesn't seem to hold, causing the truck to rest on the transmission in Park.

Is this bad for the tranny?

Remove the rear wheels, then the calipers, then the rotors. When you look at the bottom of the parking brake shoes there is a little adjuster. Adjust it with a flat head screw driver to spread the shoes apart. Keep test fitting the rotor until it is snug. Then reinstall the rotors and pull up on the parking brake handle and check how long before the handle catches.

So if the parking brake wasn't really catching, would this also casuse some slack in the rotors?

I had this same issue on my drivers side parking brake except mine rattled and also wasn't catching. Tap that little gear with a flat head and bam e-brake works better and no more rattles.
