I have a 08 trailblazer ss with 151k on it. Getting the lifter ticking noise, deciding best option to go, do i get the motor rebuilt with a btr stage 2 cam, i already have headers, exhaust, instake, or do i get a gm crate motor ls3 6.2, appreciate from all, also what heads pistons etc would you go with

What does that mean lol what do i do im stuck
Sarcasm at it's finest. LT2 motor is in the mid engine vette.

Honestly the question is how much do you want to spend?

I'd go the rebuild route but everyone has a preference.

15-20k got quoted 12,500 for a full rebuild with btr stage 2 cam oil tube conversion and tune, guess pulling the motor and putting back in they hit you with labor big time

Philly burbs. Could hit a golf ball over city line ave.

You also have to remember the calculation for reflashing and pinning the harness for the LS3 to the E67.

Im thinking full stock heads rebuild on the ls2 with a btr stage 2 cams, headers, exhaust, intake, and tune?
Nothing wrong with that. Basic build.

You could LS3 heads or have your heads ported and polished.
At that price point, I think I'd be getting more displacement
