I'm getting ready to send my motor out to get rebuilt, I have a remote GT42 do you think I should upgrade too a 296 oil pump??
Yes. I wasn't running a turbo but I ran the 296 pump with the moroso pan. Worked great. I used the higher pressure spring that came in the pump. They also send another spring with it that'll get you closer to stock pressures. I saw about 40-45psi at idle and around 75psi at wot. Hope that helps.
