Hello everyone... Today my engine light came on on my 2066 tbss stock with 102k on it and I went to advance auto and it said mil2 code??? Idk but took it to the used car dealers mechanic and he said the Torqu converter is slipping code idk what this means .. How long do I have till failure or what?? Input please.. Thanks

Did you do a bunch or brake torquing/racing in the last few days? Have you reset it to see if it comes back? It shouldnt come on, unless you have a looser converter, or your converter is slipping. With the high miles on yours, it may be slipping. I would reset it at least once to see if it comes back. Do you tow allot in 4th gear?

Came on this morning I haven't drove it in two days I usually drive my impala .... It's not slipping tho I drive it in 3 and it's fine... The guy erased the code and told me to let him know if it comes back
