So I know the Maggie guys have seen benefits, but is there any benefit from the upgrade on a pretty much stock TBSS( tune,CAI,UDP,Resonator delete)? I have one laying around that I was thinking of installing.

Anyone dyno this mod vs the stock TB?

Does it seem to run smoother?

You will notice that it is more responsive on the bottom end. You will need some sort of CAI to clear the servo on the side as the stock intake tube hits it. I was running it on mine before the Maggie!

what kind of custom tuning is needed to run one?

We tested the LS2 and the LS7 TB back to back a few weeks ago. Speed wise, we did not get an accurate answer...HPTuners said the second run was started from a 2 mph roll, so keep that in mind. Knowing that, the times were virtually the same for both TB's, but the LS7 flowed a small percentage more.

I would say, unless you have a lot of other mods that require more air, the only change will be the throttle response. I believe a lot of other people have said the same thing.
