Personally I would skip the 4L70 and put your money towards a 4L80 swap. Sounds like you're going for big power. My buddy is getting a stage 3 with triple disc billet converter. Installed with the conversion (he just supplied the core) I believe was in the $3600-$3800 range.Need built 4L70E
