The one they have is really nice on the inside I would leave it if I was just hooking a Cat Back up. I am going down for some work at a local shop tomorrow or Friday morning. This shop has a Mandrel Bender for 3" Stainless Steel. I had a hard time finding a shop that could do this for me and stumbled on them just 10 miles from my place.

I am having the Cats moved to right after the collectors on both sides. Then it will come back straight on both sides over the transmission crossmember. The 2 3" stainless steel pipes will then go into a MagnaFlow #12599 Stainless Steel Dual 3" in/out muffler with internal X-Pipe. Then from there they will go over the axle to the 4" or 5" Double Wall Polished Stainless Steel Tips. I will post up pictures when it is all done.

So do your duals both go to the pass side to pass through the crossmember or are you going one on each side? I may need you to hook me up and have them build me a stainless section for the duals because no one here in Reno will bend stainless...

The Taylor 45 Degree Short Wires got here today and they are perfect. The wires are at least 3/4" to 1" away from the primary tubes on the 1 7/8" Kooks Headers. The KoolSox on the other hand will not fit over the wires so they are going back.

Joe did you have to lift the motor or undo the trans mount to install the headers or did they just slid in from underneath? I have heard it done both ways. Did you take the wheel liners out to have more room? Thanks

I was able to put it all together in stages because of it being all apart. It would be easy to drop the transmission cross member and slide them up in from underneath.

Thanks Joe that is what I will be getting is the 1-7/8" Kooks for my L92 heads. I will be just getting the headers only since I have true duals & won't run cats only cut-outs with extensions. I run 2 stage nitrous so it comes with its own torque so not worried about low end torque loss. With a 2800 to 3000 stall I will be hitting stage one almost as soon as I leave. Any idea what the headers only cost? I think the cheapest I found headers only was $818.30 to your door.
