Key won’t come out!

I got a 2007 3SS AWD just under 170k miles.
Neutral Safty Switch issue?

Issue started after my truck got stolen but has progressively gotten worst over the past 2 years.
When I park my car, the key won’t come out. I have to wiggle the shifter(which did the trick up until recently) or move it to a gear and lightly force it forward(I might have to shift it through gears like 10 times now for the key to turn back and release).

I’m assuming this is the neutral safety switch? If so, anyone have a link to purchase a good one and how hard is it to replace?
If not, what could it be?

Ignition switch
Agree with the ignition switch being the culprit. I was having the same issues and literally just put a new one in this morning...it fixed that issue immediately (as well as a few other electrical gremlins).

Just curious about what other electrical issues are associated with the ignition switch issue?
Sporadically, the radio and dome lights would stay on when the ignition turned off and the driver door opened. Those are supposed to shut off when that happens...the new ignition switch fixed it.
