My Trailblazer SS has a broken transmission dipstick.

I'm headed to the junkyard this week for various parts I need and was wondering if the dipstick is the same for all trailblazers (SS or not)

The only reason I thought of this question was because I was looking for the part number and found PN:15812984

Which according to multiple websites states it fits for both the SS and standard Trailblazer... which seems odd to me as I figured they'd have different fill point markings. But does anyone know?

My transmission dipstick was broken also when I picked it up just over a week ago. I ordered the Dorman 917-301 for $11.73 from Amazon.

Not recycling yard fresh but for under $12 I'd buy new

Plugging in the part numbers shows that part number 15812984 fits all Trailblazers, L6 or SS

Yea... I ended up buying new. All the junkyard trailvoys had the same problem I had, broken tops. So I was unable to physically confirm if the 5.3l and the 6.0l are the same. (Although it looks like the part number is pointing to both engines from all our digital sources)
