I have an 06 ss trailblazer with the stock Bose without nav headunit and the other day my battery died and when I got the battery charged back up now my radio headunit won’t stay powered on. I can get the time to come up for a few seconds but then the unit just shuts off. It doesn’t have anything on the display about it being locked out. If I do the manual over-ride (hold seek/preset 5/ power) it will come on for a few min. but then shutoff again. So is this thing locked or is my radio just toast. Don’t wanna take it to dealer if that’s not the problem thanks

Sounds toast. If its locked, it wouldnt even come on.

I reprogrammed my BCM the other day, and it locked the radio (along with a bunch of other things I needed to redo). I reprogrammed the radio, and all was well

TRY DISCONNECTIG THE BATTERY ,TOUCH CABLES TOGETHER TO DRAIN MEMORIES,RECONECT BATTERY
