I haven't done the springs - but the spring must be removed to do the collars which I have done.

There isn't much to it really. I would say the hardest part is getting the strut assembly out and back in.

I did mine on a lift and it was pretty easy!
I just got mine in this afternoon and I was thinking of trying to put them in on Sunday. I've never installed springs or ever really touched anything suspension wise. I feel a little stupid asking, but how exactly do you go about removing everything?

EDIT: I realized that this is best left to a professional (aka not me!).
