Both are good lookn SUV's but to each there own. You two are the only badass SUV's that are flat black, that I know of and both are sickkkkkkk!!!! :cheers1:
I've seen pictures of the Porsche Cayenne Turbo S's in flat black, and the M-B ML63s in flat black as well. And back before they were considered (really really) slow, lots of Range Rover Sports in flat black. The oil sheik baron people over in the middle east pretty much love flat black, and so there's probably at least one flat black car of everything they have over there. I think there's 2 guys with flat GCSRT8s over there, but I could be wrong.
Personally if I was going to go flat black, I would just use a high quality vinyl (most exotics and cars done by people who worry about selling them ever actually use vinyl). A guy on autopia actually wraps them using some pretty high quality vinyl (it's warrantied for like 5 years but can last up to 10 years or something, really high end stuff made by some German company IIRC). Anyways, it looks the same as paint, and it's removable should you sell the car or trade it in, because altering the factory paint on a car will typically KILL your resale more than one could imagine, unless you find that right buyer(who typically is out there, just a lot harder to find). I think it's something like 1000-1500to wrap a car, but I'm not too sure.
Anyways, it looks really good on the truck. I like the wheels with it the most, it almost looks like a flat version of the factory coloring, like if there was just no gloss from the factory, that's what it'd look like. Very unique.
But yes, you do fit a profile now. Cops will continue to follow you at all times. So be careful out there.
