I have a 07TBSS 2WD with 180K. I am getting a buzz in the steering wheel and think it is in need of a hub replacement based on this site.

** Is that only the bearings?
** Is it difficult?
** Should I do both sides?

The truck is stock except I replaced the airbags with springs.

Thanks

Check out the MOOG hubs. Replaces everything involved with the wheel hubs. Yes, do both sides at same time. It is an easy job.

I use the acdelco original equipment ones from rock auto. They have a lifetime warranty and are good quality for just a little more than the moog ones. Moog is also good quality, but have a shorter warranty. If you can do brakes you should be able to do wheel hubs. I would also do both. Only special tool required is a 36mm socket.
