I think my 02 stock CVs were 34mm (or 35mm), but the replacement Cardone ones came with 35mm (or 36mm) ones (1mm biggerthan stock). So I reused the stock nuts because I didnt have the other socket and I wasnt in the mood to run back to the parts store.

Easiest way is a deep socket on an impact wrench/gun. My cheapo electric impact gun worked great for this, and works wonders on the craptastic swapbar endlinks (02-07 fronts, all rears).

So I saw 34 mm like it was gospel earlier and bought one on eBay for $11 impact socket. Now I see it's 36? Which one is it?

Ya, I don't need it, but would love it handy when I do.
