I have a 2006 trailblazer EXT LT. I just changed all four rotors and brake pads. Now whenever I turn left it sounds like from the front passenger side there's a grinding noise. I've taken it apart push the dust cover back make sure everything was put back right it's still making the grinding noise what do you think it could be? It doesn't fool when I hit the brakes it doesn't make the noise when I turn right or drive straight.

Jack up that side and rock the tire left and right and top/bottom. Literally 3 and 9 o’clock amd 12 and 6 o’clock. Hear anything? Or feel something? If you do, at least the left and right, thats often wheel bearing. Top/bottom is usually the upper ball joint

Did you put the guards back on when you installed the new bearings? If so, try taking them off and see if that’s different.

I bent my guards when I installed new rotors and calipers, and had to bend them back to get rid of the grind.

I took the dust covers off for the front put it back together still made the noise. Put the dust covers back on and went and bought calipers because my brother swore it was the caliper sticking so I put them on still made the grinding noise had my brother stick his head out the window and he said the noise was coming from the back even though it sounded like it was coming from the front. So we took the back apart and the dust covers in the back were scraping on the inside of the rotor by the emergency brake. When we went to bend the dust cover back it started falling apart so we cut them off. Problem solved no more noise. It only cost me $300 to figure out that we could have fixed it for free.lol

Glad you got it fixed. Peace of mind is easily worth that much!
Peace-of-mind mods rock.. I've pre-emptively removed all 4 dust covers; the potential for grinding noise and 2lbs of extra weight won't be able to hurt me ever again!
