I have to say thanks to supercoolin did a great job on puttin it all together and thanks to greg at phoenix for the parts and the stall.

The stall makes the truck pull so crazy im totally happy with it all. Now ill be running 0 torque managment and set it so the tranny shifts harder. I still cant believe how much the stall woke the truck up.

This is everything that was done to both transmssions:

All of the parts were from a friend at Phoenix Transmission in Texas named Greg Ducato.

1) PTGM55HSX Torque converter custom stalled to application (2600-2800), fully tig reinforced and improved sprag springs used, and with anti balloon plate for NOS/Supercharger
2) SPX Beast Sun Shell
3) Input drum sleeve and piston to help prevent breakage in the spline area
4) Trans-Go 4L60E-2 Shift kit, includes Boost valve and sleeve
5) Borg Warner High Energy 2/4 Band( best spring steel and band anchor ends of anything out there)
6) Sonnax Billet 2nd gear servo
7) Sonnax Billet 4th gear servo
8) Raybestos 3/4 Z pack
9) Master Rebuild kit with clutches, seals, rings, contains all OE quality seals, rings , gaskets and clutches.
10) Reverse input drum machined to be sure it is square and concentric and the band area is even
11) Billet pump vane rings

You will have to give Greg a call, He may have the Z-Packs in stock or will know what else you can use for your application.

Give Greg a call at the link above for pricing, he is a great guy to deal with. He will build a transmission for you and ship it to a shop for you. With a mail order transmission your down time will be cut way down. A shop can swap the transmissions and torque converters in less then a day.

That is everything I bought for my truck. That assessment is right on the money. It is about $800 in parts though

stall converter is only what 350 more. For the price you cant beat that stall.

damn does he happen to keep the built tranny in stock or whats his buildl time aprox

time to put a stall and tranny in mine before i put the 150's back in it

i dont think the stock tranny is gonna hold up to 500+rwhp and 625+ rwtq for to much longer
