Rob is a good guy.. If you are worried about the labor costs them call a few transmission shops in Chesapeake/Portsmouth VA and ask price for swap. He said he doesn't care who does swap... just my opinion. I am going to his house tomorrow morning to get some parts. If i had enough money I would buy everything..

We are working on it. I already bought the hptuners
From him so I've dealt with him before and everything went very smoothly. Just tryin to find a tranny shop that's reasonable and qualified

If I end up doing this swap, he's only going to be driving to the place he wants to go to. I'm about 45 minutes away so I'm really considering hopping on this deal. Only thing is I thought transmission places could usually do a swap for around 500 (maybe even 400) bucks, $900 seems ridiculously high.

Exactly! If you can get thus trans for 1,500 than 1000 for the swaps your gettin a food deal.. Like states 900 is stupid expensive!

Sent him a PM... Looking forward to hear what he says. I would feel great having another member work on the trucks, even though it would be a little bit of a drive. We'd be saving a ton of money going this way compared to the other shop tho!
