Alright fellas looking for a little help here. I'll be sending my lvl 6 trans back to Chuck here pretty soon to be broke open and gone thru to make sure everything is 100% tip top shape and doing a few more upgrades for my build I'm doing. My question is I don't really know much about gearing so looking for some guidance so to say. I was running the stock gear ratios in my trans with 4:56 gears in the rear with my old setup. There is now the 2.84/1.55 input carrier housing and wondering if that's something I should maybe be thinking of doing? What would be the benifits of going with that setup. I was going to be changing my 4:56's back to the 4:10's or even maybe 3:73's. If I switched to that ratio would I still need to up the gears in the rear?
