Maximum Performance = Billet Input/Output ?
Yes it would come with both billet shafts. Here they are.



I would like to know more about this max performance. I am also local..
The new unit that we are introducing is our Maximum Performance 4L65/70E. If I had to put a level on it I would call it a FLT level 7. This unit will feature billet input and output shafts. These are very high quality shafts that are made of 300M billet steel. The FLT billet output shafts we have currently had been available for quite some time and the input shafts were the ones that we have been working on to date. The billet input shafts are now available for all models of the 4l60e based units. No more broken shafts! See the pictures below.



We have also designed a new aluminum billet over run piston. This is a CNC lathed and milled piece. This new billet over run piston can be used with an OEM bonded steel forward piston in our FLT sleeved input drum. This combo with the billet over run piston and the steel forward piston make this circuit very strong. We're currently using these pistons in all level 4 and higher builds. It's a very nice piece. See the pictures below.





The next new item we are offering is a special valve body modification to help make the input sprag stronger. This valve body modification allows the overrun clutches to be applied when the shifter is placed in the D3 shifter position for 1st, 2nd and 3rd gears. This is something that's been tested for three years in few of our low 9 second vehicles and the results have been excellent. This new modification will be included in all level 4 and higher builds. The only thing that you'll noticed is when in the D3 range driving around town the coast down downshifts are a bit more noticeable. To avoid this condition simply keep the shifter in the OD position under normal driving conditions. When your drag racing or doing some spirited driving with this unit, we suggest using the D3 shifter position. This way the overrun clutches will stay applied to aid the holding power of the sprag like mentioned above. Here are a couple pictures of the vehicles.
