My fans have been running like crazy. Only when the temp gets up above 95 are they bad but its above 95 here every day. It sounds like my motor is going to jump out of my hood.

I have only noticed it once I got a tune as well. And normally go off after I reach 45 or so but sometimes I can be going 60 down the highway and they still are running like crazy. Loud enough for me to hear inside.

Advice?

I can tell you whenever AC pressure goes up, the fan duty cycle increases and the fan can scream. I have the same issue right now because my AC high side pressure is building up to the high pressure cutoff point (In my case, I think I have some trash in the orifice tube causing the AC problems.)

The tune has a fan desired % vs. AC Pressure table, the fan speed will be increased at any pressure over 232.1 PSI, which is a normal pressure for the AC running on a hot day. If the pressure is excessive, the fan will scream to life and put a lot of drag on the engine.
