oil dripping on the floor anyone have any idea where this is coming from?
It seems that the oil is engine oil, the TM oil is red.

Every month i have a new problem on my TBSS but the love is bigger :D

Thanks Guys.

My best guess is your oil pan gasket.. it gets on trans while driving, blowing the oil drops back.

Glad you said that before I went to rear main seal.. either way going to be a fun weekend project. AWD or RWD? Could cut the time in half.

I was going to say rear main seal also. If it is, I believe it's "mandatory" that you pull the transmission and put a higher stall converter :) When I clean the throttle body it's also "mandatory" to install a Nitrous Plate :)

By that logic, when he drops oil pan he is obliged to install a full rotating stroker assembly

To the guys whose oil leak was indeed the rear main seal: were you able to differentiate and rule out a rear pan gasket leak without separating trans? If so, how? if you use dye then it will travel to the same place externally with the trans attached..
I guess I got lucky with both mine. The leak on awd was fixed with new pan gasket, bolts tightened in sequence to spec, and then re-torqued 200mi later. The leak on rwd was fixed w C6 pan, gasket and same procedure. No leaks since!

Thanks a lot guys, checklist is ready to start.👌✌✌
This is how the snowball starts.. On my awd, It ended up costing me over 40k and hundreds of hours to fix the rusted out/leaking power steering cooler

I found out the rear main seal was no good when I brought my truck in to stealership for bad catalytic converters under warranty and they discovered the leak while doing the work. I would see a tiny drop hear and there on my driveway, but wasn’t sure what it was coming from.
