umm i'm not %100 but i think they where solid, i'm not a suspension pro or anything but i think its the best kit & comes with front/rear poly bushing! measured mine today with a vernier & front was 2" rear was 1" 1/8

You mean Eibach messed up rite??

I bet you they did cuz it should all fit, you should try a group buy for this kit as well see how it goes offer the front/rear Eibach kit & remember they come with the nice red poly bushing front/rear & there the thickest bar kit out there for the TB/TBSS...

Just an idea..

ok here is the addco sway bar compared to stock you can see the bends on your eibach pic are way different just trying to figure this all out.

Your rite bro the bends are different, so i guess the Eibach kit doesn't fit a TBSS, to bad its a sweet kit. Oh well..

Eibach-no go on 05 and later

GM moved the front bar into the frame in front of the oil pan. I bought the Eibach set a year ago and the Eibach front bar cannot fit into the 06 mounting location. It's a hollow bar, which is why it's so huge. Did you notice it won't even fit inside the stock retaining brackets?

The only good news is the rear Eibach bar is bigger than the competitors, it is solid, and it fits good. I like it but it sure was expensive since I had to buy the pair.

I hounded the Eibach product manager and production manager for 6 months to twist up a late model front bar and they finally made a corporate decision to not support the late application. Their inventory control system can't even track the difference cuz they're too big as a company to communicate internally, and they don't care. Our volume is way too low compared to the ricers and other product lines.

I'm looking forward to back to back testing of the addco to see if it really is stiffer than the SS front bar. NORCAL, time to get dirty and get it on!!!

How much trouble was it to remove the front sway-bar? Looks tight & like you may have to remove a wheel also the lower cover to twist it around to pull it out one side? Thanks

Has anyone weighed the factory front sway-bar? Just curious. I think it is about 40lbs. Thanks

When removing, there is also a harness clip retaining bolt in the very front of the oil pan with the bolt head facing forward. Remove the plastic shroud and remove that bolt and gain a couple mm of needed wiggle room.

Tony, what's your status? Get that bad boy bolted on and give us a report!

On the Eibach website they list a part number for the rear sway bar alone part #EIB-3826-312. I put that number into summit racing and it came back as $219.95 for the swaybar. Is it worth using the eibach rear bar by itself or with the addco front or are there to many variables that may cause bad handling?

To big of a company...:boff: My company has over 18,000+ people and when someone fucks up, everyone knows, then your fired! Sounds like they are taking the lazy route out on this one...:2cents:
