I got this idea from doing BBA's antenna mod. So with cowl trim off I got to see how dusty it was in there.
So I ended up cutting out some strips of filter to fit over the cowl trim openings. I used small hobby wire to hold it there. Also it looks like GM did plan to put a cabin filter in but ended up covering it up with a plate. You guys sure they didn't do it for models in other markets.
The filter I used is from a International truck, part number 1699956C1 it was $4.80 canadian (so I'm sure it will be $1.80 for you US guys)
I have the templates still, I'll get them scaned in as a PDF so you can print them and trace them out if you like.
