i justgot my beltechs in today and i was going to put them on this afternoon. i want it to sit down a little lower than the 1" drop. i was thinking about cutting 1/2-1 coil off of the springs. how much would this affect the spring rate and ride?

ive cut 3/4 loop. There comes a point if you cut to much spring will float. Its not a hard install at all and maybe just throw them in let them settle then come back and cut if you want to.

well i know im going to want it lower than its going to be without cutting it. with the 3/4 cut out was it ok? how much lower did it drop it?

Like Norcal said before I cut them I would put them in and let them settle before I cut them. That way you can know were your ride height will be before you cut them.

heck do what i did and buy some collars and then cut 1/4" off them to drop it some more
