underneath the truck there is what looks like a drip tube but it had a very small drop of clearish oil out of it that smelled bad

what does this tube do

i have my spare ok so that’s the front of the truck that angle would be the drivers side front tire right there

It just redirects fluid if the trans fails to prevent the fluid from landing on the exhaust/creates a fire

Its the water drain for your sunroof.
Contrary to popular belief auto sunroofs are not waterproof and are engineered to shed water downward away/around the main cabin.

Must be near Fort Lauderdale seeing you are in Florida. First guess would have been the car was from PA

Why PA? It has zero rust. The transmission mount is aftermarket and has surface rust.
