I'm not 100% sure on the adapter question but i doubt you're going to gain much going to the car injector. The ls2 gto injectors are I believe 33lb'ers where the stock Tbss injectors are 30lb. If they're ls1 gto injectors then they're smaller than stock Tbss injectors. I think they were 28lb.

I was reading in the forums and the stock TBSS are 28/29 and the Gtos are 32/33 and are a cheap solution for cam guys

The ls2 GTO injectors will get you by. They are slightly taller but they should work fine and i'm not even sure that you need spacers under the fuel rail to run them. If you do then 4 flat washers is all you need.

I wouldn't waste my money on 33's for our trucks. JMO.

Yup what lt1z said, I had to lift my fuel rail up about a 1/4" for my ls2 gto injectors. They are plenty for my cam and it's much bigger then a rob.

But If you plan on upgrading the heads the 33lbs might not big large enough
