Just gauging interest to see what the best route is for me. Wether to sell complete or put the motor back to stock and sell the H/C package. The motor IS pulled and could be picked up ASAP (H/C pull would add a couple days)

I just pulled my motor to drop in the 416.

I have:
70k mile motor
AI CNC 243 heads 15k miles
ROB cam 15k miles
PCM forLess Cam instal kit 15k miles
NEW LS2 timining chain
NEW head gaskets
NEW head bolts
spare stock set of 243 heads (needs some machine work)
extra stock flexplate
extra set OEM injectors

Motor does not have:
Throttle body
EVAP sensor
accessories or brackets

Otherwise a COMPLETE motor

Will have a pic later tonight. $5k or best offer???

Thanks,
Jeremiah

How much would you sell the heads/cam packaged for and would you be willing to ship them?

oops! That would be good info.

Pulled from a 2007 AWD TBSS.

At this time I am not looking to sell just the short block, it would either be a complete (maybe not assembled-up to buyer) motor, and H/C separate, or the entire deal togther.

I kinda bit off more than I could chew with this build and needing to recoupe some funds.

The package would consist of the following-with AIs pricing changes this is over $2300 and NO core for the heads.

AI CNC 243 heads 15k miles
ROB cam 15k miles (w/ 3 bolt sprocket)
PCM forLess Cam instal kit 15k miles
NEW LS2 timining chain

I would ship in the continental US. $1700+shipping OBO??

Yes. It dynoed 414/383 awhp on a conservative dyno. What I mean by that is stock SSs dyno around 290 on this dyno.

Thanks

On a side note, who did your tuning?

IPSmotorsports in columbus. Alvin did everything up to that point, and few tweaks after that with the 4in fwi. So realistically 440+ was possible.

I am in Louisville, KY area and will drive up to get this package for close to that price. Can you please tell me with the ROB style cam what kind of MPG you were averaging?
How was Daily Driving manner?
Stock transmission?

Thanks

I was actually surpriced with MPG. Keep in mind I have a 3600 vertor. I averaged around 19mpg hwy and fairly heavy foot around 12 in the city. I wouldn't think youd get much better hwy, but you could do better in the city.
Driving was great, didnt really notice it until you got on it. I noticed more difference with the vertor during daily driving.
As far as trans I have an RPM fully built with hardened shaft-didnt do it because of the H/C....I did it because GM wouldn't honor a warranty when I was stock.

I'm going to have to do some research. I would think these are the upper end port, but I got this setup when they only had one port option. It looks like their prices went up a lot too.

*EDIT. going by there description these would be very close to the 226cc. The 218cc only have the exhaust CnC ported. These are FULL intake and exhaust.
I beleive these also have the new guides when they built them.

I appreciate the interest, but right now I would like to keep the h/c package together as the parts from the kit are installed on the heads.
